Evista Warnings and Precautions

Prior to taking Evista, warnings and precautions for the drug should be reviewed with your healthcare provider. This includes understanding possible side effects to watch for, such as blood clots or unusual uterine bleeding, and conditions to tell your healthcare provider about, such as high blood pressure or kidney disease. Evista warnings and precautions also extend to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Smoke cigarettes
  • Have not gone through menopause
  • Have an upcoming surgery
  • Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding.
     
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all medicines you may be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
