Were you looking for information about Anorexia? Anerxia is a common misspelling of anorexia.
Anorexia is a disease characterized by excessive weight loss and distorted body image. This eating disorder is identified by refusal to eat, an intense desire to be thin, and repeated dieting attempts. People with anorexia, who believe that they are overweight even when they are extremely thin, can literally starve themselves to death. The first goal for treating this condition is to restore a healthy weight (which may require hospitalization). Treatment also involves psychotherapy, family therapy, behavioral therapy, and supportive group therapy.
